After-School
Sports CCAs
We offer team sports and a wide selection of other sports as well as our swim programme, keeping students of all ages fit and active. Our Senior Sports Programme is aligned to the 3 ACSIS seasons to offer high school students (G9-12) the option to participate in different sports every season. Moreover, training twice a week (plus matches), will give them better physical, technical and tactical preparation to face other schools.
Our participation in the “Athletic Conference of Singapore International Schools” (ACSIS) affords GESS students the opportunity to compete in sports tournaments involving other international schools in Singapore. ACSIS divides the school year into three sporting seasons, starting in August and ending in May.
Non-Sports CCAs
The Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) programme at GESS has more than 100 CCAs on offer. The activities, aimed at different age groups, cover everything from music, creative arts, performing arts, science and technology and other life-long skills. These activities are considered part of the school’s educational programme and students get the opportunity to develop new talents or to build up existing strengths.
Vocal & Instrumental Programme (VIP)
The wider GESS community, including students, parents, faculty, staff and even neighbouring families can learn a variety of musical instruments within the Vocal and Instrumental Programme (VIP). Our VIP allows students to extend their exploration of the world of music beyond the classroom by learning a musical instrument during and after school. Find out more about VIP here.
