Model United Nations (MUN)

The GESS Model United Nations programme offers experiential learning in the areas of global diplomacy and foreign affairs.

It is the perfect stepping stone for students dreaming of further education or a future career in diplomacy and law. Students develop highly transferrable skills in research, public debating, negotiation, and navigating alliances by roleplaying as delegates in simulated UN conferences and regularly coming together with local and international delegates of different backgrounds.

GESS MUN’s Impact on Students

Through the GESS MUN programme, students will:

Improve their rhetorical skills, learning to articulate their viewpoints and debate opposing schools of thought.
Become confident negotiators who know how to navigate complex networks of relationships to maximise mutual benefits.
