Starting a new school can be stressful. GESS partners with your family to ensure you are fully prepared and have a successful start to school.
Our four-step orientation programme called SureStart prepares your family before school starts and supports you during your first days at GESS. The SureStart Orientation Programme is year-round and your family will be guided and supported whether you start at the beginning of the school year or mid semester.
Complimenting our SureStart Orientation Programme are GESS Buddies for both students and parents. Your child will be paired with a student buddy from the same homeroom class. The student buddy helps your child with where to go, what to bring, and is a friendly face to eat lunch with. For our new families there is the volunteer GESS Buddies Organisation comprising GESS parents. The Buddies Organisation helps new families with practical questions about living in Singapore as well as organising social events on campus.
